If that lift had been the best solution for the customer, our price for the same lift would’ve been £16,000 – £17,000. However, the customer did not need that price from us because after visiting it was clear that a home lift was not the best solution. It was not right for the house or the people who lived there.

It was clear that the customer didn’t want the upheaval of the structural work that would be needed for a home lift. After taking some measurements and understanding the mobility challenges the customer faced, our engineer could see that a stairlift would work well. The stairs are curved so we recommended the Flow X. It performs well and gives lots of options on colour that the customer appreciated.
They also felt the starting point for the lift in the downstairs hall and the place it stopped on the upstairs landing, were ideal for their requirements.
