We contacted Lee to alter our home so as to accommodate moving in my Dad (97). We have completed one of three big jobs, that of fitting a Flow-X stairlift, with curves. The entire process has been seamless, professional, well managed and a pleasure to witness a dedicated knowledgeable technician install a fantastic bit of kit. Next up is our bathroom and upstairs bedroom adaptions! Update: bathroom completed and bedroom completed...oh my... WOW...this is exceptional work carried out by true professionals.

Complete bathroom and kitchen refurbishmentReview written on behalf of my parents C & M Sims April 2024Lee and AdaptmyHome returned to our home to adapt and refubish our existing upstairs bathroom and kitchen.Lee is so expert at what he does that he identified that the work in the bathroom would need to be completed before the kitchen due to structural issues we faced. He demonstrated his knowledge and expertise and guided us through every step of the process.Lee made some excellent suggestions for 'future proofing' both rooms and he always took into account our design ideas. He worked with our ideas and used his expertise in gas engineering, electrical engineering and carpentry to project manage the job from start to finish. Lee is trustworthy, hard working and his attention to detail is excellent! We now have a beautiful and safe bathroom which has the wow factor. Our kitchen is absolutely fabulous, fashionable and functional - all thanks to Lee and AdaptmyHome. We would highly recommend this company to anyone.
After contacting two major companies and asked to leave a message I found the local company ADAPTMYHOME. My call was answered immediately and a few hours later, Lee, of ADAPTMYHOME contacted me to arrange a visit later in the day. We felt at ease in his company as soon as we met.During this initial consultation he explained that a stairlift was possible with limited space at the bottom and two turns on the stairs.There was no pressure and we were given the catalogue of FLOW X stairlift and colour schemes to consider. Overnight we decided to proceed, and within days the measurements were made and a few weeks later the stairlift was installed.The installation was done with great care and attention to detail. Lee at Adaptmyhome provided a very professional service. I needed to install a stairlift for my 94 year old mother. He visited the same day I contacted him and provided me with a number of options. Having selected the Flow X Stairlift (which was competitively priced and looks more modern than tradition lifts; with several colour choices for both the seat and rail) I was kept up to date with progress and it was installed swiftly. The installation was carried out very tidily (even hoovered the cupboard under the stairs). Following the installation we had a minor issue with the lift and Lee returned the day I raised this and increase the volume of the alerts. Highly recommend Adaptmyhome.
Adapt my home did just that, Lee is very professional from our first contact with him, to the completion of the work, he is extremely knowledgeable. We purchased a house to be adapted for my husband to return home from a long 2 and a half years in hospital.There was a huge amount of preparation and research involved in the adaptations to our home which lee was brilliant with, the work that was done in our home was completed to a very high standard, we were really happy with how clean and tidy the house was left throughout the adaptation work even though we were not living there at the time of the work.Some of the works done by Adapt my Home included.Widening of internal and external doorways. We had external automated doors installed, organised and prepped by Adapt my Home.Designing and installation of a smart home system which enables my husband to control the house using an app which is amazing.Installing a through floor lift.Re-decoration.Installing a fully accessible wetroom including accessible bath.Fitting a new boiler and heating system controlled via the smart home.Installing 4 ceiling track hoists including one in a room turned into a therapy room.Our 5 year old daughter always asks about "Lee the builder".We would highly recommend Adapt my home.
It is a pleasure to write this review as I have nothing but good things to say about Lee and the quality of his work. He installed a Terry 'Harmony' Home Lift for us in November 2023. Not only is he an expert in his field and has certificated skills regarding all aspects of the installation, he is excellent at customer service. He explains everything very clearly and in full, so that there are no unpleasant surprises. The ordering process and the timescales involved, the costs and the timing of the staged payments, the involvement of the structural engineer, the planning and completion date of the installation... these were all discussed openly and in detail.Lee is a man of his word and he unfailingly turned up when he said he would, kept his promises about what he would do and when, and if ever he needed to change an arrangement he would get in touch to notify me in plenty of time.The day before our lift was delivered, my partner was taken seriously ill and admitted to hospital. It was very possible that she would not be able to come back home, in which case the lift would be a white elephant. Lee's response was exceptional. He showed compassion for my partner, put the installation on hold and discussed all the possible options (including the possibility of cancellation) depending on how events might unfold. He told me to take my time over making the decision.A week later, my partner's condition had stabilised and within 3 weeks Lee had installed the lift. Happily, it is now earning its keep. Thank you, Lee, for doing a great job.
Lee and his team from Adapt my Home have transformed our house with a new level access accessible shower room and complete kitchen renovation and re-model. Throughout the process Lee and his team were easy to deal with, friendly, professional, efficient, and above all reliable. They cleared up thoroughly every day before leaving. Lee also made suggestions about the design of the new kitchen that have proved to be ideal. I love our new fit for purpose rooms and would not hesitate to recommend Lee and Adapt my Home to anyone.
From start to finish Adaptmyhome were excellent. My parents were considering moving to a bungalow or having a through-floor lift. Lee went through the options objectively, helping to firstly decide if a lift was suitable, and then helping with advice on which one to choose and where to locate it - we ended up choosing the sleek Stiltz Duo+. I particularly liked how Lee explained in detail each stage of the process beforehand and then reminded us daily what would be happening before work commenced. My mother was really impressed with how spotless the work areas were left when Lee and Steve left each day - probably cleaner than when they arrived! My mother and father, who are 89 and 93, love the lift and love the fact that they can stay in their home in familiar surroundings among friends and neighbours they've known for over 50 years.
Excellent service from Lee at Adaptmyhome. I needed a stairlift fitted quickly for my mother and after doing some research I decided to contact Adaptmyhome due to their good reviews. After contacting Lee, I received a very positive response and he answered all my queries. He came out to do a site survey two days later and installed the stairlift 3 days later. This was all done within 7 days. The whole process was very easy and done at a completive price. The work was completed to a high standard with very little mess or disruption. I am very pleased with the work and it has made a huge difference to my mother's day to day life.
Ian arranged everything and the new stairlift was fitted in a couple of hours transforming the life of Shirley aged 88 enabling her to get regain access to her bedroom and bathroom, win win all round!!!
