The story behind Adaptmyhome

The company was created by Lee Yanez. Lee wanted to build a business around his three decades of experience working in construction, renewable energy and building services. Following some monumental life challenges, Lee realised that quality of life and enjoying the home you love, is a big deal! He decided to use all his trade experience and passion for home technology to start a company that would specialise in home adaptation.

Just as we would adapt our homes for young children by installing stair gates and kitchen cabinet door locks, we should look to adapt our homes for later stages of life.

From adaption planning to product installation, we’re with you

Our process usually starts with a phone call or email from you and will be followed up by a visit, where we talk about what you’d like to achieve. You might want something very specific, like a stairlift or home lift or you might have a challenge that you need help solving.

We’re excellent problem-solvers, don’t worry if you don’t know exactly what you want. We can look at your property and make suggestions that suit your needs and budget. Once you’ve agreed a price, we will organise the work, explaining the different stages and what to expect.
